● The sleeve type heat exchanger is a concentric sleeve made of straight pipes with different diameters and connected by a U-shaped elbow. ● In this type of heat exchanger, one kind of fluid goes through the pipe and the other kind of fluid goes through the annular space, both of which can obtain high flow velocity, so the heat transfer coefficient is large. ● In addition, in the casing heat exchanger, the two fluids can be pure countercurrent, with large logarithmic average driving force. ● The casing heat exchanger has simple structure, can withstand high pressure, and is convenient for application (the number of pipe sections can be increased or decreased as required).
