The sheet bar of FUNKE"FPWG" wide-space plate heat exchanger has big corrugation depth, with the flowing passage diameter reaching 3 times of traditional sheet bar; there are fewer contacting points between plates, facilitating smooth flow passage, in which fluid can flow "freely" inside. Compared with tube heat exchanger, as the corrugation can cause high-speed turbulence, it has higher heat transfer efficiency; the structure is compact which saves space.
